The Grand Egyptian Museum fully opened on November 4, 2025! Cairo's new museum, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM for short), is now fully open, so you can visit the largest museum dedicated to one civilization and see the King Tut Galleries (including Tutankhamun’s Death Mask), the Solar Boat Museum, several galleries with thousands of artifacts, and more!
